Investment Manager

The Company's investments are managed by Pictet Asset Management Limited, authorised and regulated by the FSA, which is ultimately owned by Pictet & Cie., a private bank established in Geneva in 1805. Pictet & Cie is a major European investment house with over USD244 billion in advisory and discretionary assets at 30th September, 2008.

The Fund Manager: Peter Jarvis
Peter Jarvis began his investment career in 1993 with Invesco Asset Management where he spent 13 years and managed Global Emerging Markets, Latin American and Eastern European portfolios. He joined Pictet in 2006 and is a Senior Investment Manager in the Global Emerging Markets Equities team, specialising in the EMEA markets.

Since beginning of June 2008 he is the lead manager of The Eastern European Trust, replacing Agne Zitkute.

Peter graduated from Oxford University with a BA (Hons) in Mathematics in 1993. He holds the Investment Management Certificate and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder.
